Carolyn has been leading Internet Matters since its launch in May 2014. She has a wealth of marketing experience in senior positions at Sky and Vodafone – pivotal experience in reaching out to parents. With two school-age children of her own, she is passionate about ensuring children can enjoy the internet safely.
Paula is responsible for the administrative management of Internet Matters and successfully keeps everyone organised. She has over 18 years of experience in Office Administration, Facilities and Project Management, within sectors ranging from Education, Finance and large multi-nationals to small start-up operations.
Khyati is responsible for the finance department and manages the overall accounting function for Internet Matters. With over 15 years of experience in financial support across numerous industries, she provides a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the team. And as a mum, she knows making sure that children can stay safe and explore the internet safely with parental support is extremely important in the ever-developing digital world.
Ghislaine is responsible for managing the social media channels and working closely with our e-safety experts to develop content that helps to educate and inform parents on e-safety issues. She is passionate about all things social and is heavily involved in creating and sharing the best resources available for parents through our social media channels to get parents talking and sharing their real-life experiences.
Antara is responsible for the web development and security aspects of Internet Matters, from new site builds and optimisation to website performance monitoring and site usability issues. A long-time proponent of web standards, accessibility and open-source content management systems, she has been coding object-oriented programming and building CMS websites since 2010. As a mother of a young child, she is very keen to support internet safety for children.
Sheena works as a part of the Digital Team as a content writer and is partially responsible for Internet Matters’ website content and social media. With many years of experience in education, including as a teacher, librarian and educational content creator, she wants to ensure children are taught to utilise the internet and all it has to offer in a safe and savvy way.
Olegs is a creative and collaborative colleague working with a highly talented and enthusiastic team. He has a lead-by-example mindset, a meticulous and analytical approach, and is a genuine team player. With experience from an array of sectors, a sense of humour, and a can-do attitude, no project is too big or too small for Olegs.
Puja is responsible for the management and execution of Internet Matters’ brand and marketing strategies. She has over 8 years of industry experience across both media agencies and Sky. As an aunt of two young children, she is very enthusiastic about online safety and supporting parents/carers.
Vasileios is responsible for planning, implementing, reporting, and monitoring digital marketing strategies across all Internet Matters’ online channels. He has proven ability in SEO, social media & email marketing and is skilled in analysing marketing trends. Passionate about the digital world, Vasileios is keen to promote Internet Matters’ vision to make the internet a safe yet enjoyable place for all children.
Rachel is responsible for the organisation’s strategy and development of key partnerships. Her background includes strategic planning and marketing roles in media, financial services, retail and publishing, with over 10 years experience working for Sky, one of Internet Matters’ founding members. She is also mum to two small children taking their first steps in the digital world.
Jo is responsible for managing key strategic projects and partnerships across the business. Jo is passionate about working for and with purpose-led brands, empowering companies and their employees to leverage their corporate resources at their disposal to do good. Jo is committed to providing families with the best support so children can enjoy the internet safely.
Simone is responsible for the development of our policy positions and sector engagement. Her experience spans policy, research and public affairs in a variety of contexts, including charities, a think tank, and an arm’s length body. She has an in-depth understanding of the intersection between digital policy and children’s policy. In her spare time, Simone is a keen runner and reader.
